BLEU D'AUVERGNE
Bleu d’Auvergne was created in the Puy-de-Dôme region of France in the early 19th century. It obtained its PDO in 1975.
Inspired by the volcanic land it comes from, Bleu d’Auvergne is a deliciously aromatic and flavorful cheese.
This blue-veined cow’s cheese has a particular production method. At the beginning of its maturing process, it is pricked with needles to provide the oxygen necessary for blue cheese to form.
