FRESH GOAT CHEESE
Goat cheeses are undoubtedly the most ancient of all cheeses: in 800 BCE, goats supplied milk and meat in all countries on the Mediterranean.
Goat cheese was present in Gaul before the arrival of the Romans but it was the Moorish invaders who introduced the Mediterranean goat to Poitou-Charentes in western France, where the animal has been farmed ever since.
Our goat cheese is crafted in Riblaire, in the Poitou-Charentes region, France.
